Program Application

The Radiologic Technology Program is a 24-month program with selective admission. Before applying, please see the prerequisites. We strongly encourage all students to satisfy the SBCC General Education requirements before applying to the program due to the rigorous requirements of the program: ARRT Associate Degree Requirements.

The 2026 application selection process is first-come first-served. Each submitted application will have a date and timestamp. Students acceptance is based on the order in which the applications were received.

Students accepted into the program will be notified via email. All accepted students are required to attend a mandatory in person orientation meeting held in March.

2026 Application Deadlines

Application Opens: December 15, 2025 @ 0800 hrs.
Application Deadline: December 19, 2025 @ 1700 hrs.

*Note-Final Official transcripts that include prerequisites taken another college must be submitted no later than January 9, 2026. For instructions to submit your transcripts click here.

Learn More About the Application Process

Step 1. Apply to SBCC become an active student. Unless you are an active student you will not be able to apply and submit your RT application.

Step 2. Complete the online RT application by the designated deadline. Applications received outside of the deadline will not be considered.

Step 3. Submit transcripts directily to the Admissions & Records Department at SBCC, on the Incoming Transcipts page.

Step 4. Resubmit your transcipts directly to the Admissions & Records Department at SBCC if you were in progress during the fall 2025 semster with prerequisites and general education courses. (See step 3)
